"1+1" is a song from Sia's 2021 album Music - Songs from and Inspired by the Motion Picture. While the album version is performed by Sia, it is also sung in her film Music (also 2021) by actress Kate Hudson in the role of Zu. In the film, titular character Music imagines dancing with Zu and their friend Ebo in a red room with a large pool filled with foam blocks.
Background[]
The song is about loving someone and truly enjoying the time you have with them. The visuals portray Zu having an energetic and fun dance sequence with Music and their neighbor, Ebo (portrayed by Leslie Odom Jr.), that Music imagines during a small “pool party” that Zu had organised to celebrate something.

- A snippet of the first remix was released on 9 July 2021.
- Released as a single in its various remixes: one features French-Israeli singer Amir and received a lyric video; the portion of the lyrics sung by him is mostly translated into French. Another features Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Yandel and Mexican singer Sofía Reyes, that both sing in Spanish.
- These remixes follow "Asrep Onosim", "Je te pardonne", "On" and "Del Mar" as songs by Sia or featuring Sia that include lyrics in a language other than English.
- The first remix would later be released as a Spotify bonus track.
- This is the only song in the movie Music that was not shortened for its appearance in the film.
