"Genius" is the lead single from supergroup LSD's debut studio album, Labrinth • Sia • Diplo Present... LSD. It was released on 3 May 2018, along with a "psychedelic" animated music video directed by Ben Jones with art by Gabriel Alcala.[1] The song impacted the US alternative radios on 19 June 2018.[2].
It is also featured as part of the FIFA 19 video game's soundtrack.[3]

The music video, directed by Ben Jones and illustrated by Gabriel Alcala, is a surreal animated cartoon, influenced by American Pop Artists Peter Max and Heinz Edelmann, who designed for The Beatles' animated musical film Yellow Submarine. Characters are 2D boldly-coloured caricatures of LSD members and animals. Historical geniuses such as Steve Jobs and Leonardo da Vinci are also referenced, depicted in the same animation style.[4] The scenes follow a psychedelic, non-chronological storyline lightly tied to the lyrics, and symbolic animals such as three-eyed tigers and human-like mice are present throughout the video.
The Lil Wayne Remix of the song (featuring rapper Lil Wayne) would also receive an animated video in the same style.
